48 miles

I got out of the Lake George area as fast as possible. I went to the local Stewart’s for my coffee. I’ve decided I’m not going to answer questions that don’t interest me anymore. As soon as I left Stewart’s, I found a county bike path that was GORGEOUS. It was shady, foggy, mossy, and cool. I spotted a geocache hanging from a tree and took a headless plastic figure, exchanging it with a rock I had painted eyes on. A body-less head for a headless body feels like a sensible trade. It was a fun surprise.

Someone running uphill said to me in passing, “tell me it gets flatter!” and I told them honestly that I didn’t know, but in retrospect, I probably could have told them that it always does if you go far enough.
