70 miles

It’s looking like we’ll make it to Minneapolis by tomorrow. We took a shortcut from the ACA map, cutting off the part of the trail that goes to Bowlus. It’s probably a nice section, and there’s allegedly a great bike hostel in Dalbo, but at this point I think we’re both eager to reach Minneapolis.

My day started kind of funky—I found two more holes in my sleeping pad, woke up feeling sticky, and I have no clean shorts or socks. I’ve been slacking on my laundry. Last night was so much fun though—we found a park/playground just off the trail, and it was honestly a surprisingly cool playground. We found ourselves just cackling and running around like children, spinning on things and making ourselves dizzy. 

We made it to St. Joseph today and found another little park (Klinefelter) where we could stealth camp. 

Tomorrow we’ll stay with Zack and Bree.
